Anti aging creams can actually be dangerous

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 11:35 am

Aging is not a disease; it is a natural and normal process that governs life. Aged wine and cheese are considered a gourmet delicacy but aging skin is the downfall of human vanity.
The market is flooded with antiaging preparations and creams. There are creams that promise to inhibit the skin aging process and creams that claim to wipe years off your visual appearance.
Unfortunately the cosmetics industry is not regulated to the same extent as the drug industry is even though many creams actually cause physiological reactions and do interfere with the tissue normal processes.
Not all creams do actually deliver what they promise but some ingredients in them might be harmful to the skin or even worse, cause skin irritations or cancer.
The Environmental Working Group (EWG) is an organization that created a website that contains a database of ingredients in cosmetics. It lists toxic warnings and gathers information on safety of hundreds of ingredients. In their “Shoppers guide to safe cosmetics” EWG lists ingredients to avoid when shopping for cosmetics and more specifically anti aging cosmetics.
Under “products to avoid”, Anti aging ingredients listed are:
Lactic Acid, Glycolic acid, AHA acid and BHA acids.
General ingredients in creams and antiaging preparations to avoid are:
DMDM Hydntoin and Imidazoidinyl Urea – toxic contaminants
Methylchloroisothiazolinone – Allergies, affect the nervous system
Parabens or “—paraben” – Hormone effects
Sodium Lauryl or Laureth Sulfate – skin damage, toxic contaminants
Triclosan triclocarba – Thyroid and environmental concern
Triethanolamine (TEA) – allergies and toxic contamination.
These are the major components listed in the Shoppers guide to safe cosmetics.
To age gracefully one does not necessarily need to invest in expensive anti aging creams that might cause damage. It is important to eat healthy food, sleep well and keep levels of stress down. It is also possible to correct damage to skin by using different professional anti ageing treatments and technologies, such as using different lasers and radio frequency (e.g. Thermage). These different technologists work on the reproduction of collagen, therefore creating an anti aging response.
One of the most advanced Radio Frequency technologies is the TriPollar technology. The TriPollar STOP is a new home use device which uses the professional TriPollar technology. It creates significant anti-aging, skin rejuvenation and skin lifting effect.
The STOP uses TriPollar Radio Frequency technology to gently heat the skin from inside, affecting the deep layers of the skin. This process stimulates the collagen production and thickens the dermis; therefore, creating an antiaging, and tightening effect of the skin. Using the TriPollar STOP is a good investment for the future, it saves money on creams, it is very safe to use, and gives the most effective results one wants to see.

Everything in life if not used properly is dangerous. And this article/blog does nothing than put things in peoples minds that simply are NOT true.
