Review on Antiageing and Cosmetic Surgery

Growing old is a cause of concern for all of us, the main reason is that there is nothing we can do about it. However, since we are, as humans, obsessed with how we look, we are willing to take any measures available to guarantee we look as good as possible.  Such measures can be as simple as a new hairstyle or make up. Other means can include procedures that can more dramatically change the our general appearance. There are several procedures available these days to fight the aging process and returning a youthful appearance as best as can be achieved. Plastic surgery  is the most extreme measure one can take to fight the signs of age which can work wonders for any man or woman. Plastic surgery is a medical procedure which changes the form and function of a person’s body and face.
One of the most popular plastic surgeries among women is the cosmetic breast surgery. There are varied breast surgeries to meet your expectations, such as Breast enlargement, breast reduction and breast asymmetry. Since these cosmetic surgeries require supreme skills and high experience of operations, it is important to invest in the best cosmetic surgeons in the field.
Cosmetic surgery on the face and head is also very popular in cases of people who need corrections to be made, such as in the nose or ears. It is also very popular among men and women looking to fight the aging processes. One of the most trendy cosmetic surgeries in this field is the facelift, technically known as a rhytidectomy.  Cosmetic facelift solves the problems of gravity and diminished volume of wrinkles and the overall appearance of the face and jaw.
Cosmetic surgery for the body is also very common. Fat Removal Surgery can restore the confidence and physical wellbeing of so many once they have had it. Weight loss is a good method to reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and even certain types of cancer. Liposuction is a relatively good a safe way to remove stubborn pockets of fat of 10 pounds or less that resist dieting and exercise.
In the past cosmetic surgery was only available to the rich and famous, however it is now becoming more common amongst the entire population. Although cosmetic surgery can only improve the external appearance, it also has emotional and psychological impact, and can improve one’s self esteem and confidence. Since cosmetic surgery is a surgical procedure, before undergoing any surgery, it is important to understand the risks involved and the possible side effects.

How to Choose Sun Cream Protection?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 8:05 am

If you go through bathroom cabinets of households in the western world, you will probably run into at least one sunscreen container in most house holds. Sun cream protector is a “must have” item in this day and age of increased awareness to the dangerous effects of the sun.
What sunscreen should be purchased? Do sun screens provide complete protection against skin cancer? How often should sun screen be applied? Many more questions should be asked about this subject and some do not have straight answers yet.
The effectiveness of sun cream is measured by the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of the specific formula. SPF is evaluated by the effectiveness of a specific cream applied at an even layer of 2 milligrams per square centimeter, for blocking the effect of UV sunrays that cause sunburns. The SPF level is defined in comparison to exposure to the same level of UV without sunscreen. SPF 30 means that compared to a body area without sunscreen, the area with sunscreen will require 30 times more UV to be equally burned as the same area without sunscreen. Be aware that SPF is evaluated per a specific quantity of sunscreen, unfortunately most people apply less sunscreen than needed, causing the SPF value to be reduced dramatically Hence the person thinks he/she is protected but in reality the effectiveness of the sunscreen is reduced.
In addition, there are three types of UV radiation emitted from the sun, a good explanation about UV classification can be found on the web site of the skin cancer foundation . UV-A, UV-B and UV-C. Both UV-A and UV-B pass the ozone layer and reach the earth, most of the UV-C is absorbed by the ozone layer and does not reach us.
UV-A is the most prevalent UV radiation that reaches us from the sun. UV-A is present in equal dose throughout the year and during day light hours. It also penetrates glass and clouds and has a deeper penetration depth into the skin than does UV-B. UV-A is major inducer of skin ageing, wrinkles and skin cancer. UV-A is the main contributor to tanning, according to the skin cancer foundation, tanning salons use mostly UV-A as the tanning light, the intensity in the salons can be 12 times higher than the natural UV-A levels from the sun.
UV-B has a superficial depth of penetration to the skin and plays a major role in skin burning. As apposed to UV-A, UV-B is present in lower levels during different hours of the day, different seasons and various locations on earth; it also does not penetrate glass. Similar to UV-A, UV-B contributes to skin cancer, and skin ageing.
Most sunscreens block mainly UV-B and protect the skin from burning but do not protect much from UV-A. It is important to verify, when purchasing a sun block, if the formula claims to protect from UV-A and UV-B. If not specified it is probably UV-B protection only.
The problem with sunscreen is that it causes people to feel protected from the damaging rays while they really are not. Most will assume wrongly that if they apply sunscreen on exposed areas, they can allow themselves to walk freely in the sun during the extreme UV hours (10AM-4PM).
Another misconception is that after 4PM there is no need for sunscreen as the UV radiation is lower. Very wrong assumption! As mentioned above, UV-A is present most hours of the day, so be ware!
Most are not aware that they need to apply sunscreen to exposed areas if they are driving or sitting in a car, or sitting in front of a sunny window at home, the windows will not protect you, (unless they are coated with a UV protection film).

If your skin has been damaged by years of exposure to the sun’s damaging rays you might be happy to learn that you can help rebuild collagen and decrease fine wrinkles by using advanced new technology in the comfort of your home. One of the hottest trends in the area of skin renewal is the TriPollar STOP. The STOP postpones the signs of ageing caused by the sun by stimulating the collagen production and thickening the dermis bringing about younger looking skin. It is safe for use and unlike other professional devices, it can be used during the summer.

Thumbs Up for Anti-Ageing Hand Treatments

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 4:20 am

When it comes to anti ageing, we focus mostly on our face and body. Almost every woman uses a facial anti-aging cream, eye cream and many seek rejuvenation treatments to further reduce the signs of ageing of the face and body. However, hands are also an important age indicator that many fail to address. Our hands are the most exposed organ to water, house hold chemicals and the sun, elements that are major skin aging inducers. Ageing appearance of hands includes ageing spots, thinning of the skin and protruding veins. Just like in the face, the skin of the hands will produce less collagen as we age, thinning of the skin will cause the veins to protrude and the hands to look bonier.
Fortunately there are a few options that can help reduce ageing signs on your hands and can even turn the clock back and make your hands look younger.
For prevention of ageing hands, make sure to apply sun screen on your hands every day (don’t forget to re apply sun screen after washing your hands).
Use gloves when washing dishes or when using house hold chemicals; this will help reducing further damage and protect your hands from dryness.
To help with very dry skin, apply hand cream at night and wear cotton gloves over the cream to enhance absorption.
In addition to the above cosmetic solutions there are a few technologies and more invasive methods that can address the different aspects of ageing hands. It is important to understand these different methods in order to ensure the correct order of treatment as one treatment can interfere with the process of other technologies.
Photorejuvination technologies like IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) or fractional laser  are well established methods for laser skin rejuvenation. These methods will help with reduction of age spots and induction of new collagen growth. Complete healing from photo rejuvenation techniques will take a few weeks as the skin is purposefully damaged to cause minor injury to the skin surface, hence inducing scabbing, peeling and healing.
Dermal fillers can be used for the hands, such as Restaline, to restore “plumpness” and improve the general appearance. When combining dermal fillers with skin rejuvination, it is important to perform the photorejuvination prior to the dermal fillers in order to ensure that you do not damage the dermal filler.
A more aggressive option for treatment of protruding veins on the hands is a cosmetic surgery that removes the veins from the hands. This surgery requires a few months for complete healing and usually is performed on one hand at a time.
A safer technology, with no down time is the TriPollar STOP RF technology. The STOP is a home use device, which is safe to use and has very good results for skin rejuvenation in general and for hand rejuvenation specifically. Unlike light technologies, it doesn’t work on the spots, and therefore can be used during the summer. The STOP TriPollar energy gently heats the skin from inside. A warm, relaxing sensation is felt over the skin surface while the anti-ageing, therapeutic action is taking place in the deeper layers of the skin. This heat induces an increase in dermal activity resulting in the stimulation of collagen production and thickening of the dermis, therefore, leading to visible skin tightening, firming and renewal.

Five Cellulite Myths

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:31 am

POSE-WomanCellulite is a hot topic well discussed and investigated. Just like “old wives tales”, Cellulite has its myths and mysteries to be busted. Below are only 5 myths out of many that relate to the dreadful cellulite and anti cellulite treatments:

Myth 1: Cellulite is typical to overweight people.

It is not true that cellulite is a problem of overweight people only, it is a condition that crosses boundaries of weight and even slender people may suffer from cellulite. Cellulite is caused by the superficial fat (located in the hypodermis layer of the skin). This is not the fat layer that will be first affected by diet. Losing weight will not necessarily help get rid of cellulite as the fat reduced is the deeper fat layers.

Myth 2: Cellulite is a condition related only to aging.

Cellulite is a condition that is common to females; even very young women can “suffer” from cellulite. It is true that the condition gets worse as we age due to the fact that the skin ages and losses its tightness, hence we see more of the “orange peel” texture related to cellulite as the fat cells bulge and press against the skin.

Myth 3: Liposuction can also remove cellulite.

Liposuction is a method for removal of excess localized fat.  Unfortunately Liposuction does not remove the superficial fat of the skin layer; therefore it does not assist with reducing the appearance of cellulite. In fact at times liposuction can make the appearance of cellulite look worse as the skin might become uneven post the procedure.

Myth 4: The only way to treat cellulite is to do cellulite exercises

Exercise increases and improves blood circulation; this indeed can help with prevention of cellulite and in general with body firming. However, if cellulite is already present, exercising will not help eliminating it. Of course I do not overlook the importance of exercise for general body toning and health but for treatment of cellulite additional steps are needed.

Myth 5: Special diet can help get rid of cellulite and prevent cellulite.

If you search the web for “Anti Cellulite diet” or “Anti cellulite Food” you will get lists of curing diet combinations, things to eat and food to avoid. In reality diet will not affect cellulite. Of course it is important to eat healthy food and to avoid processed food but this has no affect on cellulite. Of course you can improve your skin texture and your general looks by caring about what you eat but you will need more than a diet in-order to target cellulite.

The truth is that cellulite is best tackled with combination treatments. One great addition to the battle against cellulite are specific technologies that tackle specifically the superficial fat layer in the skin. RF is one of the gold standard technologies for treating cellulite by reducing the size of the fat cells in the superficial fat layer, in addition RF also strengthens and tightens the dermis in the skin, the tighter the skin, the less effect do the fat cells pushing up against them have. There are plenty of professional RF devices for anti cellulite treatment in the market. The only RF device for home use, though, is the TriPollar POSE. Similar to the professional devices, TriPollar POSE treats cellulite by focusing direct heat to the fat cells in those specific areas with cellulite. TriPollar POSE heats the fat cells deep within the skin (hypodermis layer of skin), accelerating liquid fat release and immediately shrinking their size. At the same time there is a contraction of collagen fibers in the skin restoring it closer to its original form and increasing the rate of collagen fiber production for long lasting clinical results of smoother, more contoured body, while reducing the appearance of cellulite. Of course, one should exercise, eat well, and perform specific circulation improvement exercises. These are always great for improving skin over all appearance and will actually enhance the results achieved by using the TriPollar POSE. A good lifestyle might delay or assist with minimizing the cellulite. So remember, for best results it is best to tackle this specific problem with specifically designed technology, enhanced with life style change.

Cheers for a orange peel look on the edge of a cool drink and not on your thighs.

How to Get Rid of Cellulite by Grading It

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 10:25 am

img-celluliteIf you have cellulite you probably know it, it is the “cottage cheese” or “orange peel” texture of the skin on the thighs, arms, stomach or buttocks. However if you want to get rid of cellulite, it is probably best to be able to grade your cellulite condition and place yourself on a measurable scale, in order to understand how to treat it. There are a few grading methods. The most popular is the Nurenberger Muller grading system.
According to this method cellulite condition is graded on a scale of 0-3.
Grade 0 – No cellulite is apparent when pinching the skin or when standing. (Very nice to be graded in this group)
Grade 1 – Cellulite is visible only when pinching the skin. It is not visible when standing or lying. This is also a very low grade as the cellulite is not really an aesthetic problem but it can be visible if you sit crossed legged with your thighs visible, creating a pinching effect on the crossed thighs..
Grade 2 – Cellulite is visible only when standing, when lying down it disappears. (Not to good for walking on the beach, but good enough if you remain horizontal on the sand…)
Grade 3 – Cellulite is visible any way you look at it, lying down, standing, pinching, no place to hide.
If you graded yourself as grade 2 or 3 the good news is that you can get rid of cellulite or at least change your position on the scale. Currently there are plenty of anti cellulite treatments in the market, starting from cellulite creams and up to different technologies based on light or technologies based on Radio Frequency. Women tend to prefer treatments which can be conducted at home, however cellulite creams have very limited effect. Ultragen Ltd. developed home used device specifically in order to solve this problem, of having effective cellulite treatment at the comfort of your home. The TriPollar Pose is based on the unique and professional radio frequency technology.
TriPollar POSE treats cellulite by focusing direct heat to the fat cells in those specific areas of concern.

Aging and sexuality

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 7:57 am

Sex, it is all in the head… is it really? It has always been in the head this is a fact, if you survey the young women population you will find that many women do not reach orgasm and do not fully enjoy sex many years prior to the dreadful menopause.
After reaching menopause women finally have justification for not possessing a strong sex drive (as apposed to men that cannot stop thinking about sex 70% or higher of the wake time).
I believe that how a woman perceives herself as she ages has a very powerful impact on her low sex drive and enjoyment of sex games. If a woman does not feel attractive and does not like her image in the mirror, adding hormones will not really make the difference.
A few tips for enjoying sex after the peak years:
1. Be open with your partner; discuss your feelings, fears and embarrassments. This can help you both search for creative solutions that will turn you both on.
2. Find comfortable positions that do not trigger the aches and pains of stiffness.
3. Find a good lubricant that you both like, there are some creative lubricants out there that can actually add fun and excitement to the game.
4. Exercise and eat healthy food, maintaining a balanced diet will improve the general sense of well being and can make one feel better mentally and physically.
5. It is no shame to masturbate or use a vibrator. A vibrator can also add to your sex games with your partner, if you have not tried it yet, it is never too late to begin.
6. Enjoy safe sex, yes even the aging population can transmit sexual disease or HIV (at least you will not get pregnant…)
7. Make your self beautiful; there are a few methods to improve lax skin and cellulite. Home devices which are dedicated for anti aging  treatments and cellulite treatments  are available to treat yourself on a regular basis or before a romantic evening. Treat yourself to your favorite antiaging creams and serums to make your skin feel and look better.

So do not give up on the pleasures of sex just because you are expected to. Sex is a very important factor for living a healthy happy life.

Valentines Gifts – The Unique Approach

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:14 am

Valentines Day is approaching with the connotations associated with it. Billions of dollars are spent each 14th of February worldwide on valentines cards, flowers small gifts, dinners and other valentine gifts to exprPOSE-Womaness one’s love and affection to a partner, friends and family.
The origins of Valentines Day are vague but it seems that it was established around the pre Roman pagan festival Lupercalia which was celebrated on the 13th -15th of February and was centered around fertility. Rather than resisting the pagan festivities, the Catholic Church adopted this festival under Valentines day, legends associate the name with a few “St Valentine”, however the most romantic legend tells of a priest St Valentine whom continued to perform marriage ceremonies during a period marriage was banned by the Roman Emperor Claudius II. Claudius II believed that marriages weaken his soldiers and by keeping the soldiers single the men are stronger and more dedicated to their duties. When Claudius II realized that St Valentines is disobeying his orders he was imprisoned and executed (of course the legend adds that Claudius’s daughter was in love with St Valentines).
The most common valentines ideas for gifts are valentines cards, flowers and chocolates, all of which are very romantic but do not last longer than a few days and it is starting to become too ordinary.
If you are tired of these standard gifts, a great and unique valentines gift ideas for the woman or man who likes to look great and feel even better is the TriPollar POSE . This home use device is dedicated for the body and can get you back in shape; it gives the best solution in the market for skin tightening, cellulite reduction and body contouring.

New Anti-Aging App Now by iPhone

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 6:45 am

We all want to look younger, or at least not to get older. For this reason, the word Anti-Aging has become so popular in the past few years. When we refer the word Anti Ageing, we refer to any anti-aging treatment, product, health or nutrition which will assist us to maintain our beauty and youth.
A new application by iPhone  was developed by Danny Salomon, an American contractor with the aim to preserve our youth and beauty. This application was developed for iPhone, Blackberry, and Android Mobile devices.
The “AntiAgeingApp” which can be downloaded from iTunes  claims to use light, color, and sound wavelength to stimulate the body to produce more collagen, and improve circulation.  It claims to minimize wrinkles, cellulite, and even fix hair loss.
The new application creates a great bazz on the web, which especially concerns about the new application’s credibility and its actual results.
Allegedly, using light and sound therapy is a known technology, and it is commonly used in spas and salons as part of anti ageing treatments; nevertheless its efficiency was not proven yet. The fact that this technology competence was not scientifically proven is an advantage and disadvantage at the same time for the new AntiAgeingApp. On the one hand, since there are no proofs, there is no prevention to claim that it does exactly what other products do. On the other hand, it open hornet’s nest regarding the application’s credibility even before it was launched.

Does it really work? Does it worth the money? You decide…
